Jason came out to my new home for a visual inspection today. The home has been reading very high humidity levels since we purchased it, so I have been over anxious at the possibility of mold and the possible reasons for the high humidity. He did a very thorough inspection of my basement, and told me he is confident that mold is unlikely and showed me where you would typically see signs of it if present. He recommended a specific size dehumidifier and where to position it etc. & said that should fix my issue on both floors. He also patiently answered many other questions I had and did not rush me at all. He made a few other recommendations and even gave me a reputable vent cleaning company. Jason is as knowledgeable and honest as they come. I can't adequately express how grateful I am to him and to the forces that led to me working with him. I suspected mold in my basement, but was completely wrong about where it was, so I learned I don't know how to identify it reliably and I could have been seriously misled by an "expert". Thankfully, neither of the two other mold abatement companies I contacted before him said the walls had mold, which was my fear, but they did identify it on some beams and quoted $3,000 and $2,500 respectively. I was ready to get a handyman to clean the beams for me to save money when Jason responded to a last minute contact I'd made to his company. I ended up paying him a fraction of what the other companies would have charged and feeling confident that he was the only one who truly identified what was mold and what was concrete dust, which they had all misidentified. Not only that, but Jason showed me what I could do outside the house to divert water away from the walls, and gave us tips on replacing some insulation in the basement rafters and what kind of paint to patch some areas with. He is fantastic!!!

MAC did an amazing job on our basement walls. To start off Jason came in looked at the work gave a written quote with timeframe for when the work would be completed, he is honest, and was easy to communicate with. He took an initial deposit and was paid the remainder upon completion of the work. He completely held up his part of the bargain, which is very rare in today’s contracting environment.Our basement walls had been paneled over 40 years ago and the concrete wall behind it was crumbling. MAC worked diligently to clear out the residue and dust, but they were careful not drag the dust throughout the house. The team took the time to put down drop clothes, where they would be walking. Next Jason worked to stabilize the gaps and holes, and then restore the walls so that they were all flush and finally finished with a brilliant white paint. This made the basement look so much more brighter and clean. They came back in a very timely manner to do some touch up work, a few weeks following completion.MAC came to us highly recommended and actually exceeded our expectations.

I would highly recommend Mold Abatement Contractors! I was having problems with a terrible mold problem and used a big commercial company. Then only did the mold Abatement but left my basement in disrepair and left mold covered items behind (which I am highly allergic to). I then had another mold bloom in the laundry room part of the basement and called MAC. They went above and beyond to solve my mold problems they found the source of both the first and this second bloom. Both were repaired and they replaced all the drywall and painted it for such a reasonable price! Recently, during a buyer's home inspection of a rental property I was in the process of selling, mold was discovered in the attic. It was a complicated situation because the HOA was responsible for the roof, but as the owner, I was responsible for mold remediation if the cause was deemed not to be caused by the roof leaking.I called a half dozen mold specialist and had each of them describe the process they would go through to remediate the mold. Jason at Mold Abatement Contractors thoroughly described the process, so I had him come out to inspect the attic and to give me an estimate.However, before Jason arrived at the condo, a representative for the Board of Directors of the HOA met me at the condo with a roofing contractor to inspect the attic on the same day as Jason was scheduled to come. The roofing contractor made the determination that the entire roof needed to be replaced, including the plywood sheathing where the mold was present. The HOA then agreed to the plan to replace the roof.After his inspection, Jason made the determination that mold remediation would not be required since all the plywood was being removed. However, to ensure that there would not be a mold problem after the roof was replaced, he recommended that he do a second inspection after the roof replacement was completed. My experiences with Mold Abatement Contractors & Jason Morris have been nothing but satisfying. As a REALTOR, I can tell you that having a resource like MAC & Jason is a true asset. Jason is the BESTI had Jason work at two of my rental properties, plus my own home. All work was completed in a professional way at the price quoted (which very reasonable). One of my tenants was very sensitive to any environmental impurity, and Jason took the time and shared his knowledge, which was very comforting to her. MAC and Jason Morris provided excellent service in addition to multiple phone calls, follow-up documentation and meetings for a client (I am a realtor). Mold remediation can be challanging and he educated all of us and was very responsive and professional. As a long-time realtor, I have experienced virtually every problem with properties. Mold is one of the more recent ones to become recognized as a health hazard, and I, too, have been very concerned about it. Once a colleague of mine suggested I contact MAC and Jason Morris, I have found 'mold issues' to be manageable and, surprisingly, affordable to the point that I have never had a client lose a sale (or purchase) due to mold. Jason saved the day at my listing! Mold discovered during home inspection was removed by Mold Abatement Contractors.
